Information we collect
The West Coast Builders does not use web forms on this site, so we do not collect information through the website itself. When you call us, we collect what you tell us to handle the job: your name, phone number, the property address, and details about the damage.
During a job we also take photos, moisture readings and notes about the property and damaged items. Those records are part of the work and are shared with you.
How we use it
We use your information to respond to your call, dispatch a crew, carry out and document the work, invoice for it, and follow up about that job. If you ask us to, we share photos, readings and scopes with your insurer, adjuster, landlord or property manager.
Phone calls, recording and forwarding
Calls to our number may be recorded where permitted, for quality and to keep an accurate record of what was requested. When all of our crews are busy, a call may be forwarded to another trusted local provider so you still get help; in that case the provider receives the details you give them on the call and handles them under its own practices.
Cookies and analytics
This site does not use analytics or advertising cookies. The embedded map loads only when you click to view it; at that point the map provider may set its own cookies under its own policy. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives standard connection information such as your IP address.
Sharing and selling
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as described above, with service providers who help us run the business (such as billing or storage), or when required by law.
Keeping and protecting records
We keep job records for as long as needed for the work, warranty questions, insurance claims and our legal and tax obligations, then dispose of them securely. We use reasonable safeguards to protect them.
Your California privacy rights
California residents may have rights under state privacy law, including the right to know what personal information a business has collected about them and to ask for its deletion, subject to legal exceptions. To make a request, call us and we will verify the request and respond.
Children
This site is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes and contact
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new date. Questions about privacy can be directed to us by phone at (323) 709-0141, or by mail to The West Coast Builders, 153 Japanese Village Plaza Mall, Los Angeles, CA 90012.
